Green Smoothie: great for a detox or a plain ol’ health shake. This green smoothie has kale, celery, cucumbers, ginger and apples for sweetness. You blend them together with lemon and water to make a thick smoothie.
Mask & Scrub: Mix together yogurt, lemon, old coffee grounds and coconut oil for a hydrating, exfoliating face scrub or mask. If you want a full body or hand scrub, put sugar or salt and oil or vanilla extract together. You can scrub it on your dry spots, elbows and heels.
Hair Mask: A simple hair mask can be made from avocado and olive oil. This is used on your hair, but especially your roots. You then wrap your hair in plastic wrap or a shower cap and use a blow dryer to condition it with heat.
