Ellen: Jennifer Garner Vs. Ben Affleck
Jennifer Garner came by Ellen to talk about both of her movies out right now, Men, Women, & Children and Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day. She’s married to Ben Affleck and Ellen asked her about the competition with her husband, because he has the #1 movie in the country right now, Gone Girl.
“He does technically have a movie out, but I’ve got two. So, like, whatever,” Jennifer Garner joked.
Jennifer Garner said her movie Men, Women, & Children is only opening in 4 theater. But she said that it’s still going to beat Gone Girl.

“So I asked around and apparently I have a baby bump. And I’m here to tell you that I do,” Jennifer Garner said. When the audience cheered, she said, “Hold up. Hold right up. I am not pregnant. But I have had three kids and there is a bump. From now on, ladies, I will have a bump and it will be my baby bump. And let’s just all settle in and get used to it. It’s not going anywhere.”
Ellen TV: Jennifer Garner Men, Women, & Children
Jennifer Garner is starring in the new movie Men, Women, & Children, directed by Jason Reitman, who did Juno and Up in the Air. The movie is about social media and all the different ways we think we’re connecting with other people and aren’t.

Ellen: Jennifer Garner Trick or Treating
Jennifer said her house is already decorated for Halloween with spiderwebs and ghosts hanging from the tree. She said they make all the stuff themselves, but they’re not pretty.
“They’re scary in a special way,” she said.
She said she used to dress up, but she stopped dressing up. Now, she dresses up like a mom “with pockets”. Ellen gave her a racy mom costume she really bought from a store. Jennifer was really shocked by it. Ellen joked she could put it on for Ben and then they could get a baby bump for real.
Ellen TV: Jennifer Garner Basketball Game
Then it was time to play a game called Hoop Dee Do Me, where Jennifer and Ellen wore basketball hoops on their head. Balls were velcroed onto their bodies. The object of the game was to see how many balls they could get into their own hoops on their heads. This game was really hard because they couldn’t look at the hoop. They had to just throw the balls and hope it landed in the basket.
Ellen had six balls, but Jennifer had nine so she won.
Men, Women, & Children is in select theaters now and it opens nationwide on October 17.
