Ellen: Jason Segel New Orleans

Jason Segel filmed his new movie, Jeff, Who Lives At Home, in Ellen DeGeneres’s home city of New Orleans, Louisiana, a place he said has the “best food, best booze, best music of all time.”

He said the movie takes place in a single day, but they spent three months shooting it, which meant it ended up having an unintended theme, “about a guy who gains 30 pounds over one day.”

Ellen: Jason Segel & Jeff Who Lives At Home

Jason Segel stars as Jeff in the new film Jeff, Who Lives At Home. He has spent his life waiting for a sign from the universe about what he should do with his life. Over the course of a single day, he gets that validation from the universe.

“It reminds me of who I was in my early 20s, where you’re waiting for the moment where someone tells you that you’re not crazy,” Jason said.

Ellen: Jason Segel Interesting Questions

Jason believes that being nice is one of the most important things you can do with your life. “It’s not going to be that we were famous, when it’s all over,” he said of his legacy. “It’s going to be that we were nice.”

Ellen pulled out her Bowl of Interesting Questions for Jason to answer. The first question was, if you could take a personal tour and snoop around anyone’s house in the world, who would it be?

“It would be my parents,” Jason said. “I feel like they’re up to some stuff I don’t know about.”

These questions sound like the book David Arquette and his daughter like. Read David Arquette’s What About You Book Review.

Jason Segel: I Love You Man & Forgetting Sarah Marshall

Ellen asked Jason what three objects he would bring with him to a desert island. His choices were a DVD player and his movies, I Love You, Man and Forgetting Sarah Marshall.

But Ellen pointed out the island probably wouldn’t have electricity, and Jason remembered he didn’t include a TV in his list, so that’s probably not going to work out.
