Ellen: Casey Wilson Happy Endings
Wilson told Ellen how her dad is doing. She said he’s doing better than the last time she was on the show and is like her cheerleader. She gets long text messages from him daily and he calls her “girl,” like a gay best friend. She said he is very into female empowerment and was her Girl Scout leader until she was a senior in high school.
Ellen: Casey Wilson’s Dog Duffy
Wilson’s dog, Duffy, is like a wise old soul, she said. He will speak with his eyes and stare into your soul. She said it’s like he knows all of your dirty secrets.
She had an Indian meditation guru come over to feel the energy in her apartment. He was much more concerned with Duffy. He told her the dog was speaking to him. Duffy wanted Wilson to know he was protecting her and wanted to speak, but couldn’t.
Ellen: Bonnie Raitt “Used To Rule the World”
The song is like an anthem for anyone who’s ever wanted revenge. It’s about watching a person who has gotten really wrapped up in the world and then life slaps them down. They used to have life figured out, they used to be a big shot and now they are just like the rest of us.
Her guitar skills impressed me above all else. At 62, Raitt could play the strings off John Mayer. Looks are very deceiving and age is just a number in this case.
