Ellen: Brooklyn Decker
“Our next guest is a former Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Model who has not one, but two movies coming out,” Ellen said of her next guest, Brooklyn Decker.
The two movies Ellen was referencing were What To Expect When You’re Expecting and Battleship.
Ellen: What To Expect When You’re Expecting Review
Ellen showed a clip of What To Expect When You’re Expecting. It featured Brooklyn sitting with her lover, played by Dennis Quaid. The couple across from them announces that they’re having a baby, and both Brooklyn and Dennis burst into laughter.
They announce that they are also expecting a child. The man in the other couple tells Dennis‘ character that he didn’t know they were trying to conceive.
“Look son, there’s no blanks in this pistol!” Dennis‘ character says.
It was hilariously awkward.
Ellen: Brooklyn Decker Sports Illustrated Swimsuit
Brooklyn Decker sat down next to Ellen and Ellen marveled at how quickly Brooklyn‘s career has changed.
“Just two years ago, you were here for the cover of Sports Illustrated,” Ellen said. “These are your first two movies?”
“Second and third,” Brooklyn said. Her first film was Just Go With It.
Ellen asked which of her two most recent films, What To Expect When You’re Expecting and Battleship she shot first. Apparently, it was entirely a coincidence that they were released on the same day, because Battleship was filmed a year before What To Expect When You’re Expecting.
“I can’t believe It’s actually happening,” Brooklyn said. “It’s very exciting.”
Ellen: Brooklyn Decker Husband Andy Roddick
Ellen asked how Brooklyn and her husband, Andy Roddick were handling the constant traveling in support of Brooklyn‘s films.
“We travel a lot,” she said. “We’re on this tour. We’ve gone everywhere except Africa and the poles.”
“Is Andy traveling with you?” Ellen asked.
“He’s here in L.A. but he goes to Europe this summer,” Brooklyn said.
Ellen: Andy Roddick’s Ellen Cutout
Many years ago, Ellen gave Andy Roddick a cardboard cutout of herself. Apparently, he still has it.
“The cutout made the move to the new house,” Brooklyn said.
Brooklyn said that when they moved, the cutout had it’s own seat with a seatbelt. She joked that it made her a little jealous. She said she told her husband, “You’ve been in a relationship with Ellen longer than you’ve been with me!”
Ellen: Brooklyn Decker Portrait
After finding out that Brooklyn‘s husband Andy still has a cardboard cutout of Ellen, Ellen decided she wanted to give him a better gift to remember her by.
“What’s the decor of your new house?” Ellen asked. “Hopefully this will go in the bedroom.”
A stagehand carried out a huge portrait of Ellen dressed in regal attire.
“This is going above the bed,” Brooklyn joked.
