Ellen DeGeneres’ Melbourne Graffiti Twitter Challenge
Ellen asked the people of Melbourne via Twitter to come painted in their best graffiti. The fans were painted with messages to Ellen and dressed up as upside down people. Then, the finalists had to paint up graffiti walls that represented Ellen and her persona.
The winner was a woman that flew from Sydney to Melbourne, let people graffiti her body, and then graffitied the wall. Her level of commitment won her $5,000 and the runners up got $500 from Swisse Wellness.
Jessica Mauboy Sapphires & Finish the Lyrics
Jessica Mauboy was an Australian Idol and she joined Ellen for the Finish the Lyrics game. She said her dad was the one that encouraged her to compete on Idol. Mauboy stars in the new film Sapphires with Chris O’Dowd. The film is about a group of native american singers that become a huge hit, but then quietly go back to their lives. It is based on a true story. Ellen also brought up Kelsey and Luke, two Australians, to play the game. Mauboy started with Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way” and went to Kelly Clarkson’s “Since U Been Gone.” Kelsey and Luke tied, so Swisse Wellness gave them both $1,000.
Jeannie’s Vacation at Hayman in Australia
In preparation for Ellen’s visit to Australia, Jeannie went down a week early. She stayed at the luxurious Hayman Resort in Australia. Besides the plush rooms, beautiful pools and five-star service, Jeannie went snorkeling in the Great Barrier Reef and enjoyed paradise. She walked along a private island, Langford, with a romantic boater.
Jeannie’s trip was relaxing to watch, but I would kill to visit Hayman. They give you massages on the beach on a table on the water. That would be the ultimate relaxation!
