Ellen Vs Katharine McPhee: I Want To Smash Your Face Game

Ellen DeGeneres invited her guest, Smash Star Katharine McPhee, to play in a carnival style game called I Want To Smash Your Face. On the far end of the stage was a board of plates featuring Ellen’s and Katharine’s faces.

The pair stood at the opposite end, and they were supposed to take turns throwing softballs at the plates bearing their opponent’s face. Katharine said she was a mediocre softball player in middle school, but hasn’t had much practice since then.

Ellen: Katharine McPhee Throws Left Handed

Katharine McPhee is left-handed, in case you were curious about her sports skills. When the game began, both ladies missed on their first throws.

Ellen hit the first Katharine plate, and sadly Katharine broke one of her own plates instead of one with Ellen’s picture on it.Then there were several misses, with the ladies breaking more of the game’s decorations than the plates themselves.

Ellen Vs Katharine McPhee Game Results

Each of them broke a few chips off of some plates, but it took several throws before one woman Smashed all her plates. Ellen won the game, and she managed to do it without any obvious cheating.

Undeterred, Katharine kept throwing softballs until the timer sounded. When it was all over, four plates featuring Ellen’s face were still intact.

It seems like Katharine McPhee should stick to singing, dancing, and acting, instead of sports. You can see her doing all three in new episodes of Smash, airing Monday nights on NBC.

Ellen Vs Alison Sweeney Jenga Controversy

Recently, The Biggest Loser star Alison Sweeney appeared on Ellen. The reality host and actress played a Life Size Game of Jenga With Ellen, which is now the subject of some controversy among fans (because Ellen is a cheater!).

Ellen tried to plead ignorance, saying she wasn’t familiar with the rules. But many viewers are incensed by what they see as multiple rule violations. I wasn’t going to say anything, so I’m glad others are weighing in about Ellen’s flagrant disrespect for fair play.

Ellen & Alison Sweeney Jenga Cheaters

Vi from Minnesota pointed out that Ellen used two hands, which is not allowed. Lorraine in Virginia pointed out that both players cheated, and Ellen appreciated that she wasn’t being singled out.

Robert of Massachusetts said he couldn’t believe that Ellen literally pushed Alison into the Jenga tower; he hoped it was accidental, though if he (or you) saw the incident in question, it’s clear that Ellen acted deliberately.

“I barely remember what Robert is talking about,” Ellen said, before flashing back to a clip of what happened. “I still don’t know what he’s talking about,” she said. “I know there was a thread on the back of her dress, and I was trying to get it off for her. I think she slipped, and she’s also a drinker.”

Ellen invited Alison to return for a rematch; hopefully they’ll both have time to learn the rules before then.
