Ellen TV: Blindfolded Musical Beats Seats
Ellen DeGeneres kicked off her show by sharing that as everyone knows, she loves to play games. She said they’re even scientifically proven to make people happy. She also said she recently saw a video that proves playing games doesn’t only make humans happy, but animals as well. The video was of a bulldog puppy rolling down a grassy hill. Adorable!
She said she wanted to play a game based on the Beats Music app called blindfolded musical Beats seats. She used a giant LG phone in order to play songs via the Beats music app for a creative version of musical chairs. Ellen invited five audience members down to play the game, and then had them put on “blindfolds” that were actually goggled with fake comical eyes on them. “Happy” by Pharrell Williams began to play as the five women danced around. As soon as the music stopped, the hilarious search for a seat began.

The next song to play was “Bust A Move” by Young MC. Ellen made a point to say after that round “once you’ve scoured one area at a four foot radius, move on.” Next, she played “Dark Horse” by Katy Perry as three women searched for two seats. Hilariously enough, one woman was already on the floor crawling and searching before the music even stopped.
Another woman was scooting around on her bottom until she was about five feet off the mat. “You don’t care you’re wearing white jeans do you?” Ellen said to the woman. They then zoomed in on her jeans to show them covered in dirt.
For the last round, Ellen played “Music” By Madonna. The woman in the white jeans won a $500 Visa giftcard, that Ellen said she could use to buy some new jeans. She also sent everyone in the audience home with a brand new AT&T LG phone.
