Dr. Phil October 1, 2014 Preview
Dr. Phil has another catfishing story for us on October 1, 2014 on his show. A 70-year-old widow named Norma sent her online fiance over $300,000 and 3 cars, but her daughter worries that it’s a scam. And you know that it probably is.
He’ll also be giving us some updates on a woman who was catfished and another woman who confronted her husband about his infidelities.
Dr. Phil: Scammed Out of Over $300,000 and 3 Cars
Norma is 70 years old and says she can’t wait to move down to Ghana to be with her fiance Richard. She met him online two years ago and although she’s never met him in person, she says she’s head over heels in love with him. She’s given her entire life savings to Richard, a sum greater than $300,000. She’s also given him three cars. It’s the cars I’m most curious about. Like, what does Richard need with 3 cars? Or what did he say he needed with them?
Anyway, Norma’s daughter Tammy thinks Norma is being scammed. Dr. Phil tracks down the man who Richard sent as photos of himself. Is it the same man?
In this day and age, I don’t understand how anyone could get scammed in this way. I feel bad for Norma, but I also don’t understand how someone gets to the age of 70 without the common sense to not give your entire life savings to someone you’ve never met.
Dr. Phil: Updates
Dr. Phil will also tell us what’s happening with Sebrina, a past guest who discovered on Dr. Phil’s stage she was a victim in a catfish scam. How is she doing now?
He’ll also speak to Anna, whose confronted her husband Pablo on Dr. Phil’s stage about his many infidelities.
Be sure to check out Dr. Phil on October 1, 2014! It’s sure to be an interesting one!
