On April 17 2013, Dr Phil is talking to three people who were blindsided by attacks. Vincent was attacked by his girlfriend when she stabbed him in the back and leg with a knife. Who was the real victim? Then, Danny was nearly blinded in one eye when he was attacked by the “Lipstick Bounty Hunters.” Also, Mary Kay was attacked by a man who she met on Match.com. She’s now suing the dating website for $10 million.
Dr Phil: Vincent Attacked By Girlfriend Amanda
In April 2012, Vincent was attacked by his girlfriend Amanda. She stabbed him with a 13 inch knife in the back and in the leg. She was arrested and charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. Amanda was released and exonerated because of Florida’s Stand Your Ground Law. This allows self-defense in the face of a threat.
This episode gives Vincent a chance to share his side and explain why he is the victim. Then, Amanda’s attorney speaks in Amanda’s defense.
Dr Phil: Lipstick Bounty Hunters
Danny says that he was attacked by the “Lipstick Bounty Hunters.” These three women work to capture some of the most wanted fugitives in the country. Danny claims the women surrounded him when he was at a fast food restaurant. One of the women shot Danny in the eye with a rubber bullet and another shot him with a shot gun. The ladies then posted a video of the struggle on their webpage.
Dr Phil: Match.com Attacker
Also on April 17, Dr Phil speaks to Mary Kay. She was attacked in January 2011 by Wade Ridley, a man she met on Match.com and dated for eight days.
