Dr. Phil: June 5 2013
On Dr. Phil June 5 2013, 10-year-old Jani is a schizophrenic. She has hallucinations of things that are not there, and hears voices that tell her to jump off of buildings. She has been tested to have a genius IQ, but spends most of her time in an imaginary world she constructed within her mind called Calalini, where more than 100 animals and people have taken up residence. Though these imaginative denizens generally bring Jani comfort, they also cause her to act out in violent fashion. What will Dr. Phil’s encounter with this potentially violent child be like?
Then, Ashley, 25, was diagnosed early on in life with everything from schizophrenia to schizoaffective disorder in her young life. Unfortunately, she has replaced many of her medications with illegal substances. Will Dr. Phil be able to help her?
Dr. Phil: Jani Has Early-Onset Schizophrenia
Soon after Jani’s birth, her parents, Michael and Susan, noticed that she was unlike any other child. She slept for only three hours a day and was always seeing things that weren’t there. This was not simply an over-active imagination, however. By age six, Jeni had been diagnosed with early-onset schizophrenia, and the family’s life has never been the same since.
Dr. Phil will be taking a personal look inside Jani’s world, Calalini, tomorrow. What do you guys think is going to happen?
Dr. Phil: Ashley Is Hooked On Heroin
Ashley’s first hallucination may have started out with seeing Jesus on a horse, but they became dark and demonic soon after that. From dead people in an orchard to severed bodies crawling towards her, Ashley lives in constant fear. The wort part of this is that Jenny has gotten off her prescribed medications and turned to street drugs. Now, she is addicted to heroin, and has to use it every day to relieve herself of the visions or make herself okay with them.
