Dr Oz: Tapout XT 90 Day Fitness Plan
Dr. Oz invited the creator of the Tapout XT 90 day fitness plan, Mike Karpenko, on the show to give everyone some advice on getting healthy, fit and losing that unwanted weight for good. Karpenko promised anyone can follow his Tapout XT program, so don’t be intimidated by this episode of Dr. Oz.
Dr Oz: Tapout XT Workout Program For Everyone
Karpenko, a mixed martial arts champion, created his Tapout XT workout program to help anyone change their body in ways they didn’t think possible. Karpenko, somehow, came to the conclusion women really like to kick, hit and punch, which led him to create a workout that would allow them to do so while reshaping their bodies.
He believes his plan can work for anyone who wants a new body bad enough. If you want to get a 6-pack or if you want to shed the muffin top, Karpenko said this is the workout plan for you. There are just three rules everyone needs to follow.
Dr Oz: Tapout XT Six Days a Week and Rest On the Seventh
Karpenko’s Tapout XT Workout Program is a 90-day program, but he said 90 days can be overwhelming for many people, so his first rule is to do it just six days at a time, leaving the seventh day for rest. He also suggested marking off the days you work out on a calendar, so you can see your progress with the workout plan.

Karpenko said nutrition is one of the biggest challenges for a lot of people. While people usually have an idea of what they need to buy from the store and what kinds of food they need to eat, they don’t always know the best way to prepare the meal. Karpenko said he keeps things simple by eating the same thing for breakfast every day.
Dr Oz: Recover From Workout With High Protein Snack
When you commit to extreme training, like the Tapout XT plan, your body needs time to rest and recover. The best way to accomplish that is to eat a high protein snack about two hours before you go to bed at night. Karpenko told Dr. Oz he likes to eat hard boiled eggs, but if you need something crunchier, he said pumpkin seeds are also a good choice.

Karpenko said, like any other fitness program, you will get out what you put in. Dr. Oz further demonstrated this motto by bringing out two women who had been using the Tapout XT program for some time, both with incredible results. Both women said they started the program obese but were committed to losing the weight and getting healthy. They worked hard and they saw the results they wanted.
Dr Oz: Tapout XT Workout Burns 1,200 Calories a Day
Also like any fitness program, weight loss results are going to vary for those who follow the Tapout XT program, but he said as long as you do your best in every workout, you will begin to reshape your body. Karpenko said the workouts are going to burn 1,200 calories and he demonstrated some of the moves with Dr. Oz. Although they have silly names like Dirty Boxing and the Organ Donor, they looked very challenging. Karpenko said all the exercises can be modified to your ability level through, so do not let the intensity of the exercises scare you away.
