Dr. Oz: Boosting The Metabolism With Tea
Dr. Oz talked to a woman who loved drinking iced tea on the show. Amy says it’s her beverage of choice. She drinks about four to five glasses a day. She’ll take it on the go, at home, or at work. Dr. Oz had a nice weight loss tip for her and for us at home, too.

Dr. Oz: White Tea Health Secret
Dr. Oz recommended she try iced white tea with a little orange. White tea has powerful antioxidants that can encourage the body to burn off fat. It also helps prevent fat cells from forming in the first place. The orange has a lot of vitamin C and we know that people who are heavier don’t get enough vitamin C and vitamin C helps them lose weight. This tea is also for people who like their tea a little sweeter.
When you make it, stop the water just before it’s boiling. White tea is delicate, so you don’t want to use water that’s too hot. Use two tea bags for a stronger brew because you’re diluting it with ice and add 4 orange slices.
Dr. Oz: Matcha with Kiwi Cubes Secret
Dr. Oz also recommends Matcha tea, which a lot of people aren’t familiar with. Matcha is made in Japan and it comes in a powder form. For each cup, you want about two teaspoons of macha tea in the water. Shake or whisk to avoid the clumps and add some frozen kiwi slices. Enjoy! Dr. Oz said this is also good with alcohol.
