Dr. Oz: Fat First Wives Club

Kirstie Alley helps three women, who call themselves the Fat First Wives of Chicago, get past their divorces.
Kirstie Alley and Dr. Oz meet three divorced women from Chicago who called themselves the Fat First Wives of Chicago. All the women met at the at the nail salon owned by Gloria and enjoyed each others company. They were open about talking to each other about their weight but they also wanted to lose most of it.
Dr. Oz: Divorced Friend Support
Gloria said when she fist got divorced it was very hard on her and she gained thirty pounds. Tara said she weighed about 140 pounds when she got married and longed to get back to that weight. Anaan said she became very stressed after the divorce and quickly began gaining weight. All three of the women wanted to make healthier choices in life and Alley knew she could them. After all, Dr. Oz did call Alley the Queen of Reinvention.

Gloria said she had no idea the divorce was coming and being blindsided by the divorce made her close up and not want to talk to anyone about what was happening.
Tara said she has a kids, a loving family and lots of friends but at the end of the day, she is still very lonely. She wants to find someone she can share her life with.
Anaan said she has lost her faith in men and she wants to become healthy for herself and for her kids.
Alley kept saying there were many good men out there and the women should not give up. She said she wanted to get divorced and she has left that in the past. She encouraged the women to do the same thing she did. Let the past be the past and move forward.
