Now that you have learned your Body Type, you are ready to do something about it and take control of your weight loss once and for all.

Dr Mark Liponis is a medical researcher and author who shared his findings about body fat and weight loss on The Dr Oz Show. He said once you have discovered whether you are a Farmer Vs Hunter Body Type, you can target your weight loss strategies to lose weight from your problem area, whether it’s your butt or your belly.

Could simply swapping your coffee filter help you lose weight? Find out Dr Liponis's tricks.

Dr Oz: Chromium Polynicotinate for Belly Fat

If you are a Hunter type who is trying to manage out of control belly fat, there is a supplement on the market that can help you. It’s called Chromium Polynicotinate, and it’s designed to calibrate your body’s insulin sensitivity, which is a key tool in weight loss. The recommended dosage is 200 mcg daily.

Dr Oz: Unbleached Coffee Filters Fights Fat

Another way Belly Fat fighters can give their metabolism a jump start is at the kitchen coffee pot. Switch to unbleached coffee filters, which can reduce your risk of high cholesterol, while also giving you more of a metabolism boost from your morning coffee.

Dr Oz: Diindolylmethane

Butt Fat is a different animal, as we have learned from Dr Liponis’s book, The Hunter/Farmer Diet Solution. However, an estrogen metabolizer could be useful for you when it comes to reducing your cancer risk. Diindolylmethane, or DIM, is just such a product, and it’s found in health food or online stores.

Dr Liponis also recommended that all of us try walking in the evening. Hunter types especially tend to eat their biggest meal at dinner time, so getting a quick walk after supper can help keep your metabolism going in the evening.

Dr Oz: Compression Socks Fight Butt Fat

Compression Socks are another surprising tool in the fight against Butt Fat. These keep the blood pumping through your feet, and you might even notice they give your feet a warm, fuzzy feeling. The benefits of improved circulation could even inspire you to work out more. Find these socks at your department store or online for under $10.
