Dr Oz shared his solutions and breakthroughs for the Big Butt Body Type Diet, including a meal plan and exercises.


Dr Oz invited audience member Cindy to vent about her Big Butt body type. She said she always felt insecure and thought people were staring at her. The exercises she’s tried have not given her results in shrinking her big bottom. She thought that shrinking her butt would give her more confidence.

The purple gloves came out and Dr Oz showed Cindy what Subcutaneous Fat looks like, which is what’s behind your big butt. This is different from the regular fat layer, between that layer and your internal anatomy.

Expert Geralyn Coopersmith joined some audience members to show off a workout designed to get the Big Butt Body Types moving.

The key is to move every part of your body. Try doing a curtsy squat to work the whole body, followed by an upper body workout. Another exercise mentioned was Complexes, which use a band to combine Squats and Rows, back to back. The goals are increased metabolism and tone.
