Dr Oz: Shaun T 5 Week Diet and Workout Plan

Everyone wanted him to come back on Dr. Oz after his 15-minute exercise plan kicked Dr. Oz’s butt. Shaun T, the powerhouse behind the Insanity Workout, has transformed a number of Dr. Oz viewers. He inspired one viewer to lose five sizes, another lost 45 pounds and one office of co-workers does his workout plan two days a week to stay in shape.

Shaun T said he used to get stopped on the street when people wanted to tell him how much they loved the Insanity Workout, but he said everyone is stopping him now to tell him how much they loved his 15-minute workout on Dr. Oz. With the great feedback from so many fans, Dr. Oz challenged Shaun T to come up with a 5 week diet and workout plan that will help everyone get in shape and get healthy.

For breakfast, Shaun T said pumpkin is the way to go because it is high in grains and in fiber, plus it will keep you full throughout the morning. Try some of the foods below:

    Dr. Oz talked with Shaun T about his five week weight loss plan, his five week diet plan to lose more weight and he gave out his peanut butter ricotta cookie recipe.

For a mid morning snack, Shaun T recommended trying ricotta cheese because it is high in calcium. Dr. Oz further explained calcium is great at letting the body know to release fat from fat cells. Try making Shaun T’s peanut butter ricotta cookie recipe below for a great snack.

For lunch, Shaun T suggested eating a salad with dark greens. He said the dark greens are full of nutrients and the salad will help trim the fat off your stomach. He suggested eating a lot of arugula in the salad because it will also help regulate hormones and stress.

For an afternoon snack, make sure to reach for a plum. Shaun T said they are the perfect portion size for a snack and and they are the best antioxidants out there.

To help get rid of a big butt, Shaun T suggested eating quinoa for dinner. This high protein, high fiber dinner will keep you full throughout the night and it will prevent your body from storing fat in places you don’t want, explained Dr. Oz.

Dr Oz: Shaun T Peanut Butter Ricotta Cookie Recipe

Shaun T Peanut Butter Ricotta Cookie Ingredients: 

  • 1 tbsp natural peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup old-fashioned oats
  • 1/4 cup reduced-fat ricotta cheese
  • 2 packets (or to taste) Stevia
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp flaxseed
  • 1 egg white
  • Dash of cinnamon

Shaun T Peanut Butter Ricotta Cookie Directions:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Line pan with parchment paper.
  • Mix everything together in a bowl making sure to mash the ricotta cheese well.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes or until tops of the cookies start to brown.
