Dr Oz: Personality Diet Plan

Dr. Oz was joined by The Biggest Loser coach Jen Widerstrom to discuss her book Diet Right For Your Personality.  If you haven’t taken the Dr. Oz Diet Personality Quiz, you should do that first by clicking here.  Once you know your personality type, here are the diet tips and plans that will work best for you whether you are The Swinger, The Rebel or The Everyday Hero.  And definitely read all of the ideas, even if it isn’t the diet plan for your personality type.  For example. Dr Oz: The Rebel Diet Plan

Widerstrom said that The Rebel is unpredictable, thrives with limited structure and like to make things up as you go along.  So she leaves the list a bit more open-ended.  For breakfast, she suggests that The Rebel eats three proteins, one starch, one veggie and a glass of water.  You want to eat five meals a day that vary.  So, for example, you may have two eggs, turkey bacon, tomatoes, whole wheat toast and water for breakfast.

Dr Oz: Yum Yum List

Widerstrom also told Dr. Oz that The Rebel will not eat food if it doesn’t taste good.  So she came up with a Yum Yum List of things that make food taste delicious without ruining your diet. Here is what is on the list:

Dr Oz: The Swinger Diet Plan

The Swingers are the life of the party and love what is trending.  Widerstrom told Dr. Oz that she gives Swingers a menu style option.  So for lunch, they can pick between a Brussel Sprout Salad, Minestrone Salad, Kale Salad or Salmon Burgers.  So you can ask yourself, “what do I feel like having for lunch?” and lets you have a choice.

Dr Oz: Everyday Hero Diet Plan

Widerstrom told Dr. Oz that the Everyday Hero is what her type is and you tend to always ignore yourself.  It is important that you feel successful and that there is zero barriers to entry.  So one option is a simple 4-5 ingredient green shake.  Or you can have prepackaged snacks or slow cooker meals.

Dr Oz: Slow Cooker Chicken & Salsa Recipe

One of Widerstrom’s favorite slow cooker recipes is to just throw chicken breast, taco seasoning and a can of salsa into the crockpot.  That way when you come home for dinner, you have an easy meal already finished.
