Dr Oz: Pea Protein Powder Challenge
Dr Oz was on a quest to help you get your energy back with Human Growth Hormone, Amino Acids, Papaya Juice, and Vitamin B6. Another way we can all get more energy is by paying more attention to the foods we eat. He asked three viewers to take the Pea Protein Powder Challenge and talk about their experiences on the show.
Dr Oz: Pea Protein Powder Review
The three women taking the challenge were addicted to carbs and sweets. Dr Oz asked them to try Pea Protein Powder, and everyone was surprised at their results. Caving in when we have unhealthy choices can be a destructive cycle, but Dr Oz said this protein powder can actually stop those cravings from happening.
When we eat foods we love but know aren’t the best for us, it’s not long before the cravings rear up again. Pea Protein Powder is rich in protein and your body digests it slowly over time, which means you stay full longer and don’t have as many cravings. The protein tricks your brain into thinking you are not hungry.
Doctor Oz: Pea Protein Powder Weight Loss Diet Results
The three women in Dr Oz’s experiment ate, on average, over 300 calories less than they normally would, because they replaced their junk or snack foods with Pea Protein Powder.
According to Dr Oz, lowering your caloric intake by even 200 daily calories can add up to huge results over time.

Dr Oz: Whey Protein Vs Pea Protein
One woman in the experiment said she has gained weight in the past from eating whey protein, but didn’t seem to have that problem during this experiment. Why does whey protein vs pea protein work differently?
Dr Oz said a lot of people are allergic to whey, and the body’s reaction could be one explanation for the weight gain. I guess pea protein is better tolerated in general.
