Drinking juice all the time can get tiresome, said Cross. After he would spend all day drinking juice, it was nice for him to be able to sit down with his family to eat dinner, rather than drink it. Below are some of his favorite recipes that are packed full of vegetables that can be eaten and not sipped through a straw.

Add Hot Sauce To Juice For More Flavoring

A lot of people have had success with juice diets so Dr. Oz invited his viewers who have improved their health and lost weight from the juicing to offer their best tips and tricks for everyone who wants to try the 3-Day Weekend Juice Cleanse.

  • One viewer said after making the juice, blend an avocado with a handful of ice and add it to your juice. This will add a healthy serving of fat as well as some protein.
  • To save time on the juicing process, keep all your fruits and vegetables in the same bags so you don’t have to read the recipes when making the drinks.
  • Make the juice the day before and store it in the freezer. The next day, take it with you to work and sip on it throughout the day.
  • Add flavor to a juice by sprinkling in some pink salt, cinnamon or hot sauce.

About the author

After graduating from the University of Cincinnati with a degree in Journalism and Anthropology, I managed a pizza place for a year, while freelancing for various newspapers in the area. Working every weekend in sauna like conditions, never being able to take a day off and being covered in flour is something I will not miss. I hope Recapo has air conditioning.
