To share more of his Total Choice Plan, Dr Oz explained that he had guilt-free comfort foods that you could enjoy while still losing weight. To share the recipes, he played a food version of The Dating Game with a woman named Alexis. Instead of picking a man, she was going to pick the guilt-free comfort food she wants to have on a date tonight.

On the other side of the curtain were three guilt-free comfort foods, and based solely on the descriptions given to her as she asked questions, she had to pick one.

The third food was described as sweet and savory, and when asked what the secret healthy ingredient was, the third food revealed that it has healthy fats. She wanted to know how comfort food number three could satisfy her craving and was told that it was the last part of her meal and also the best part, and the ingredients include a natural aphrodisiac.

Dr Oz explained that all of the guilt-free comfort foods fit the calorie and nutritional guidelines for the Total Choice Plan, so she could pick whatever one she wanted. She chose comfort food number one, the mac and cheese, passing on chicken pot pie and the sundae. When she saw the brownies, she was disappointed she missed out on that one, joking that she would come get some later.

Dr Oz: Total Choice Brownie Fudge Sundae Recipe Ingredients

  •  1/4 C granulated sugar
  • 1/2 C dark cocoa powder
  • 3/4 C cubed avocado
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 C dark chocolate chunks
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 9 oz Cool Whip

Dr Oz: Total Choice Brownie Fudge Sundae Recipe Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Mix together avocado & sugar using a hand mixer until combined.
  3. Add in the egg & then mix in the cocoa powder & baking soda.
  4. Stir in the chocolate chunks.
  5. Bake for 8-10 minutes.
  6. Serve with Cool Whip.
