Dr Oz: Sound Oasis Sleep Therapy Pillow, The Lark & Sheex Review

Sleep Remedies: Dr Oz

Getting a great night’s sleep is important for having the energy to make it through the day. But it’s also important for your long term health. That’s why Dr Oz invited home viewers to test out sleep products like The Lark, Sound Oasis Sleep Therapy Pillow, and Sheez Temperature Control Sheets to find out if they really work.

Dr Carol Ash joined Dr Oz to talk about all the sleep gadgets on the market, and how to weed out the bad ones. The goal of sleep products is to change our habits and reinforce the positive principles of sleep, helping us transition into a calming routine at bedtime.

Sound Oasis Sleep Therapy Pillow Review: Dr Oz

Dr Oz viewers reviewed the Sound Oasis Sleep Therapy Pillow and other products for better beauty rest.

Audience member Elaine admitted to taking cough syrup as a sleep aid, but she knew it was a bad idea, and Dr Oz agreed that you shouldn’t resort to that. Another woman in the audience complained that turning 40 has ruined her ability to get restful sleep.

Sheex Temperature Control Sheets Review

The first product tested on the show was Sheex Temperature Control Sheets. They work to decrease your body temperature and keep you cool while you sleep. That sounds like a great product for me.

In home tests, viewers gave Sheex passing grades of A and B.

Sound Oasis Sleep Therapy Pillow Review

The Sound Oasis Sleep Therapy Pillow has built in pillows to create soothing sounds and help you relax as you fall asleep.

Viewers scored this product as a B+ and an A, which are encouraging grades. Share your thoughts in the comments if you’ve tried this one.

Dr Oz: The Lark Review

The Lark is a creative wristband that monitors when you sleep and determines the best time for you to wake up. When that time arrives, it gently wakes you. That means you don’t need an alarm clock.

Though viewers who tested the product said it was effective, they found the wristband uncomfortable for sleep. The home viewers both gave this one a B; I wonder if you get used to the wristband after a few weeks.

If you have trouble getting to sleep at night, maybe one of these products is right for you.
