He has even told his audience to use moisturizer that contains some amount of SPF because as much as the sun helps us live a healthy lifestyle, it can also cause many diseases, skin cancer being just one of them.
On Dr. Oz’s latest episode, he might be changing his tune about sunscreen. On his May 8 2013 episode, “Breaking News: Is Sunscreen Dangerous?” Dr. Oz is sounding the alarm on sunscreen and handing down new guidelines for using the product.
Also, Dr. Oz is inviting Wendy Williams on the show to talk about her private health struggles.
Is Sunscreen Dangerous?
Dr. Oz is investigating sunscreen on his May 8 2013 episode. He is looking at new claims that say sunscreen could be causing more harm than good, revealing what he thinks about the matter and he is giving everyone new guidelines to follow when wearing sunscreen.
He talks with one expert who says sunscreen could be interacting with our skin in an adverse why, affecting our hormones and causing cancer. Could it be true?
Wendy Williams’ Health Scare
Dr. Oz is also inviting TV host Wendy Williams on his show to talk about her private health struggle with Graves disease, an autoimmune disease that affects the thyroid gland. Some symptoms of the disease include increased heartbeat, muscle weakness, loss of sleep and extreme irritability.
She is opening up about the day she got her diagnosis and how she has been making her health the number one priority in her life since the diagnosis.
