Dr Oz: DUI From Over-The-Counter Medications?

Just about everyone will get behind the wheel after taking over-the-counter medications without giving it a second thought. But most don’t know that a typical dose can be equal to three glasses of wine, which means you could be putting both you and those around you at risk, and even possibly risking getting a DUI. As Dr Oz will report, over 240 million people take over-the-counter medications, so this can be pretty shocking information. Dr Oz will welcome Elisabeth Leamy to his show to explain what medications could have you needing a designated driver.

Dr Oz: Secret To Staying Healthy This Winter

Dr Oz will then welcomed Dr Robynne Chutkan to his show to share the secret weapon in your gut that could keep you from getting sick this winter. Not getting sick this winter sounds like music to my ears, especially with a little one running around. It’s even more exciting to know that what could protect me from illness could already be inside me! Dr Chutkan and Dr Oz will share what you need to know to keep you and your family happy and healthy for the cold months to come.

Then, Dr Oz will demonstrate five things you didn’t know you could do using your microwave. I’m excited about this segment given that I’m a new mom and sometimes meal time can be a bit of a fiasco. If Dr Oz is planning on sharing quick cooking tips that involve more than just heating up leftovers, you can bet I’ll be all ears! We’re all about fast food in this country, so why not be able to make it in our own home, especially given that it’s much healthier!
