On Thursday, February 19, Dr Oz will take a closer look at what are called Cryptic Pregnancies, which are cases of women who truly don’t know they’re pregnant until they’re in labor. Then, he’ll welcome the hilarious Wanda Sykes to his show to talk about everything from motherhood to why she chose to have her breasts removed.
Dr Oz: I Didn’t Know I Was Pregnant
Dr Oz wants you to try to imagine not knowing you’re pregnant until you’re actually in labor. It’s a reality for more people than you may think, and it’s called a Cryptic Pregnancy. You may have heard about those “I didn’t know I was pregnant” women, which is why Dr Oz will investigate cryptic pregnancies and exactly how they happen.
Personally, I find it hard to believe that someone could have absolutely no idea they’re pregnant, given all the symptoms I had when I was pregnant. But for some, either they hardly gain weight or don’t notice the weight gain, and have hardly any other symptoms. Others may chalk up the symptoms to something else. Whatever the case, many women end up delivering a baby completely unexpectedly and Dr Oz wants to find out more.
Dr Oz: Wanda Sykes
Dr Oz will then welcome comedian Wanda Sykes to his show to talk about being a mom, going through menopause, and why she chose to have both of her breasts removed. Even when discussing a very serious topic, Wanda knows how to put a hilarious spin on it. She’s sure to bring a load of great information in the form of a load of laughs, so don’t miss Dr Oz on February 19!
