Dr Oz February 11 2013 Preview
Dr. Oz is having one of his most informative and surprising shows in a long time. Did you know some of the foods you are buying at the grocery store could be something completely different than what you think you are buying? On Dr. Oz’s February 11 2013 episode, “Counterfeit Foods: Buyer Beware,” he is going to be looking at the foods you think you are buying and explaining what you are actually buying.
How stores are able to sell you something completely different from what the packaging says is crazy to me. This is one episode I am going to be watching intently. Just imagine, some of the foods you could buying for your family could be something completely different from what you think you are feeding them.
Dr Oz: Counterfeit Foods and Food Fraud
Dr. Oz is going to be talking with numerous experts about the food fraud happening in grocery stores around America. He is going to be investigating the different fillers and ingredients swaps companies are using to steal your money and put your health at risk. He is also going to be looking into how companies are able to get away with misleading labels that could have you think you are buying something you are not. He even looks at one food swap which swaps out healthy food for food banned in Italy and other countries
I was shocked when I saw this episode was coming up because a friend of mine used to say the best place to buy meat at the grocery store he worked at was in the dog food sections. Since the store he worked for only sells “fresh meat,” at the days end, any ground beef from that day was repackaged as dog food and sold at a fraction of the price.
Make sure to tune in Dr. Oz February 11 2013 for this all-new, informative episode about how you could be getting duped at the grocery store and you don’t even know it. If you miss any of this information, stop by Recapo Monday afternoon for a full recap of this episode.
