Dr Oz: Natural Weight Loss
When you are working toward your fitness or weight loss goals, every extra boost and inspiration can really make a difference. It seems like Snack Recipes and Chocolate Cake are great motivations, but if you’re still looking for options, Dr Oz unveiled a list of natural weight loss boosters you can add throughout your day in hopes of getting better results. See how you can use Glucomannan, Alpha Lipoic Acid, Maitake Mushroom Extract and Sage Leaf Tea to improve your weight loss success.
Dr Oz met a woman from his audience who said she was just 13 pounds away from her goal weight. As a stay-at-home mom in her 30s, she said she has noticed it’s harder to take off the pounds than it used to be. She said she had tried diet pills during her 20s, but found that the side effects cancelled out any benefits. She hoped Dr Oz could give her some ideas for natural alternatives, and he did exactly that.
Sage Leaf Tea Review: Dr Oz
The advice Dr Oz highlighted was designed to incorporate throughout your day for best results. First off, he suggested adding a metabolism booster to your breakfast.
His idea was one cup of Sage Leaf Tea at breakfast, ideally within one hour of waking up, to really start your metabolism off as early in the day as possible.
Dr Oz: Alpha Lipoic Acid
By lunchtime, Dr Oz said you can burn off some excess fat by taking 200 mg Alpha Lipoic Acid. It’s a natural weight loss aid that works by targeting inflammation in your fat cells. Getting those cells to relax is key to shedding fat, believe it or not.
Dr Oz: Maitake Mushroom Extract
I know that I tend to get hungry before dinnertime, which is why I was so impressed with the snack suggestions Dr Oz featured. He shared another idea that will help fight cravings: Maitake Mushroom Extract.
This is an extract that comes in liquid form. You can simply add about 12-15 drops on top of the snack you’re already enjoying. Dr Oz said that this has medicinal effects in terms of managing sugar levels in the body, but it also works well for weight loss.
Dr Oz: Glucomannan
The final suggestion works best about 30 minutes before dinner. Just drink 1/2 teaspoon of Glucomannan in about eight ounces of water, which helps give it a more appealing consistency. It also works in soup or as a garnish for other foods. This isn’t the only time Dr Oz recently mentioned Glucomannan on his show.
Those are the latest weight loss boosters from Dr Oz. Which ones are you thinking about giving a shot?
