Dr Oz suggested getting natural sugars from watermelon and tart cherry juice. Taking these at the right time will help you fall asleep faster. Try enjoying one cup of watermelon four hours before bedtime. You can mix it up in this drink from Dr Oz.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups Tart Cherry Juice
  • 3/4 cup Kiwi
  • 3/4 cup Watermelon
  • Ice

Directions

  1. Combine ingredients in a blender.
  2. Drink about four hours before bed.

Dr Oz: Kefir Milk To Stay Asleep

If you have trouble staying asleep, try drinking Kefir Milk. This fermented milk contains probiotics. Drink about 1/2 cup Kefir Milk one hour before bedtime to sleep more easily through the night.

Dr Oz: Omega-3 Supplement for Longer Sleep

Do you wake up too early in the morning? You can do something about this: take 600 mg DHA Omega-3 Supplement. One study on children found that this helped them sleep a full hour longer, which is great for brain development.
