Dr Oz: Get Rid of Your Thut
We have heard all the deflated body words before, from Muffin Top to Front Butt, Underboob, Cankle, and more. Noah Douglas Neiman, a fitness trainer and glute expert, introduced Dr Oz’s audience to the Thut.
First, he quizzed visitors to the West Gotham Market about the Thut, and no one seemed to know what he was talking about. The Thut is “where your butt ends and thighs begin," and if you can see it, you have a lack of definition, due to lost muscle tone.
Dr Oz: Pencil Thut Test

Heather, who worried that she is at risk for developing a Thut. You can test yourself at home using a pencil. Push it in place where the buttocks and thigh meet. Then let go. Dr Oz: Noah Douglas Neiman Combo Squat Exercise
Noah Douglas Neiman said he had three moves that can help you get rid of your Thut or prevent it from taking shape.
- Lunges – With feet hip width apart, take a big step forward with one foot, putting the weight on your heel, not the toe. Alternate in three sets of 10 or 12, targeting the hamstrings and glutes.
- Squats – Lower back and knee problems can be caused by under-developed glutes. Try doing Squats and putting all the weight in your heels as you go as far down as you can. Do about three sets of 10-15.
- Combo Squat – Once you start to get more strength, you can fight gravity in the Combo Squat. From a squat position, leap off the heel and land with soft knees.
Dr Oz: Workout Wear Friday Trend
Do you think you could get away with wearing gym clothes to work? Dr Oz said that Workout Wear Friday is a new fashion trend, which lets people don more comfortable attire around the office on Fridays, before they head to the gym after work.
You can dress up the look a little bit by putting a jacket on. Combine yoga pants with leg warmers to create a layered appearance. Add a splash of color to keep things interesting. Dr Oz said that you will take more steps in a day when you are wearing more comfortable clothes, and you don’t have to look like you just came from the locker room.
