Dr Oz: Ayurvedic Medicine Helps With Belly Weight Loss

Dr. Kulreet Chaudhary said there is no arguing the fact that weight loss becomes more difficult the older you get. But she said ayurvedic medicine can ignite the digestive fire as a way to get rid of weight in hard to lose places like your hips, thighs and belly. Keep reading to find out what Ayruvedic fat fighters she recommends everyone add to their diet.

Water-Soluble Toxins vs Lipid-Soluble Toxins

Dr. Kulreet Chaudhary told Dr. Oz the key to losing weight when you’re older is a toxin referred to as “Ama.” She continued by saying there are two types of toxins, water-soluble and lipid-soluble. The water-soluble toxins can be removed from the body by making dietary changes and by exercising more but the lipid-soluble toxins get stuck in the fat cells, making it harder to lose weight. She believes if you are having trouble losing a few pounds, it is probably due to the toxins in your body and not your lack of discipline.
