Dr Oz Cancer Warning Signs revealed the truth about what your body aches and pains could be trying to tell you.

From the audience, a woman named Nadine said she is always struggling with aches and pains, but assumed they were related to work stress. But did you know that back pain is a possible Pancreatic Cancer warning sign, and that this type of cancer affects 44,000 people each year?

Dr Oz: Pancreatic Cancer Symptoms

  • Back pain
  • Loss of appetite
  • Diarrhea

Your Pancreas is near the middle of your stomach, and it secretes a digestive chemical that helps the body process foods you eat. But Pancreatic Cancer makes it impossible for that pathway to digest food properly, leading to erosion and inflammation of your Pancreas and the anatomy nearby.

Dr Oz said it’s like a forest fire raging inside your body. Dr Deborah Axelrod said that if your back or muscle pain won’t go away when you take an over the counter anti-inflammatory, or if you have a symptom of greasy stool, you should call your doctor.

Chest Pain Lymphoma Warning

Lymphoma is a form of lung cancer, and there are an estimated 75,000 new cases annually. Here are the warning signs to watch out for.

  • Shooting or sharp chest pain
  • Exhaustion
  • Flu-like symptoms

You might also notice that the Lymph Nodes around your throat are swelling up. You can easily test by feeling from your throat and surrounding muscles, working down the chest to the top of your clavicle. Other places to check for nodules are under your arms and in the groin.

How can you tell whether or not it’s the flu? If your chest pain comes with unexplained weight loss or night sweats, those are other Lymphoma warning signs, so alert your doctor if symptoms persist for more than two weeks.

Dr Oz: Arm Pain Lung Cancer Warning

With 200,000 new cases of Lung Cancer popping up every year, this is the most common cancer killer among women. Know the symptoms to look for.

  • Arm pain
  • Tender shoulders
  • Persistent cough

Pain is often a critical indicator of Lung Cancer. Though it’s often associated with smokers, about 20% of cases are diagnosed in women who never smoked. As it spreads, Lung Cancer can affect your shoulders and arms, which is what cause these telltale symptoms.

Stomach Pain Colon Cancer Symptoms

If there is good news about Colon Cancer, it’s that most cases are curable when they are detected early. Still, there are about 140,000 new cases yearly. Know these symptoms.

  • Stomach pain
  • Painful bloating
  • Constipation

Though women often think of Colon Cancer as a male disease, Dr Oz said it affects both sexes equally. Bloating can be a confusing symptom for women, which sometimes means they aren’t diagnosed early.

If bloating lasts more than one or two weeks, check in with your doctor for more advice. People with Colon Cancer in their families should have a Colonoscopy by around age 50.

Be sure to spread the word to friends and family about these cancer warning signs and symptoms.
