Dr Oz: Tricks Women On TV Use To Look 10 Pounds Thinner
How do the women you see on your favorite TV shows look their best on camera? Dr Oz invited style expert Stacy Cox to explain to women everywhere how you can create a slimming silhouette and create the illusion of a smooth, trim figure. Learn more about Color Blocking and Facial Contouring.
Dr Oz: Slimmer Stomach Layering Trick
Cox said that it’s about mastering smoke and mirrors so you can look your best when you are trying to impress. First, Dr Oz and Stacy Cox sat at a fake news desk to show how you can prevent the appearance of a bulge around your stomach area.
Avoid wearing a body slimming garment that is designed to tame your hips and butt, because it creates a roll around the stomach. To avoid a layover effect, choose a full-body slimming, shaping garment that will cover all your bases. Then, layer a cardigan to camouflage the arms and “a wide, stretchy elastic belt” to create the illusion of a waist, to look about 10 pounds thinner. Just make sure you don’t pick a belt that is too thin.
Dr Oz: Strategic Color Blocking Thinning Look
Stars on the red carpet are getting photographed from all angles. How can you use their secrets to look 10 pounds lighter? Stacy Cox told Dr Oz about Strategic Color Blocking, which creates a vertical line and accent colors. She used a Stella McCartney dress as an example, and it uses a black stripe down the front and back with a cream/white color on the sides. Emotional connection is also a part of choosing your outfits, according to Stacy. Stacy also recommended Hukkster.com to monitor the prices of these tailored designer outfits so you can catch them on sale.
Dr Oz: Facial Contouring Cheekbones
Dr Oz also asked Stacy to show us ways to put our best face forward. Use Facial Contouring to fake a glamorous look at any age. “Take a matte face powder that’s about two shades darker than your natural skin color,” Stacy said. Make fish lips to figure out where to make the contour, just underneath the apple shape. This secret helps to make your face appear more thin. Would you try it?
