Dr Oz: Cellulite Solutions
Dr Oz is always trying to come up with new solutions and ideas that can help relieve the most common complaints from viewers. At the top of the list for women is often the issue of Cellulite, but what can you do about it? While there have been recent segments about the Cellulite Seaweed Bath and a Velashape Review, Dr Oz took a fresh approach with a Cellulite Scrub Recipe and some thoughts about Aminophylline Cream.
Are those dimples and bumps on your legs driving you nuts? You’re not alone, and the good news is that you don’t have to get on the operating table to see results. These temporary solutions can be useful in a pinch, and they’re easy to find or make for yourself.
Dr Oz: Cellulite Treatment
Audience member Jackie joined Dr Oz and complained about her issues with Cellulite. She was even bold enough to show off what she was talking about, so Dr Oz and all of us could see her Cellulite, in high definition.
Dr Oz said that Cellulite is not your fault, and it doesn’t have anything to do with your size. Rather, it’s another dreaded consequence of aging. He explained that young skin is more elastic, but fat cells build up over time. That’s what leads you to those unwanted and unsightly mounds of tissue that won’t seem to go away.
The older you get, the less elasticity you have in your skin. By a certain age, you might even get the dreaded cottage cheese look. But you don’t have to lie down and take it. Dr Oz shared some remedies with Jackie that might work for you as well.
Dr Oz: Aminophylline Cream Review
The first suggestion is Aminophylline Cream, and Dr Oz said you should search for a 2% concentration. This product uses a chemical compound found in asthma medication to turn fat cells into body heat. You’ll get the best results if you use it daily and apply it to your dimpled problem area. Though it won’t get rid of your cellulite, it can reduce the appearance, making it perfect for a special night out or other social occasion.
Dr Oz: Retinol Cream for Cellulite
Did you know that Retinol Cream on the back of your legs will work just like it does as a facial treatment? It strengthens collagen and leads to “thicker, more resilient” skin. Use 0.4% Retinol one to three times daily; you can use the same product you use on your face.
Dr Oz: Kola Nut Cream Review: Cellulite Treatment
Look for a Kola Nut cream, which contains caffeine and other polyphenols to help cover up your cellulite. Just make sure that Kola Nut and Caffeine are both among the first five ingredients on the label.
“Don’t combine them all together,” Dr Oz said of these various cellulite treatments. “Pick the one that you like.”
Dr Oz: Cellulite Scrub Recipe
If you’d rather try something you can make with common kitchen ingredients, there’s a solution for that too. Dr Oz’s Cellulite Scrub Recipe will help reduce the appearance of Cellulite. It contains Sesame Oil to lock moisture in and give your skin a sleek look.
- Sea Salt
- Cayenne Pepper
- Sesame Oil
- Combine ingredients in a small bowl.
- Apply to affected cellulite area and use to exfoliate.
If you give either of these options a try, report back with your results.
