Dr Oz: Baking Soda Beauty Products
Did you ever think that Baking Soda could be the beauty secret that could save you big bucks on cosmetic products? Dr Oz and Women’s Health beauty director Molly Nover-Baker showed how you can make your own Baking Soda Volumizer, Baking Soda Acne Mask, and DIY Whitening Baking Soda Toothpaste. Here are the simple ingredients you need for these recipes:
Nover-Baker explained that the Internet is awash with beauty remedies using baking soda, because more women are discovering how useful it can be and deciding not to invest in cost-prohibitive beauty products when they can get the same results for a fraction of the cost.
Dr Oz: Baking Soda Dry Shampoo Remedy
Baking Soda can work in place of Dry Shampoo to help dry the excess oils and moisture from your hair. All you have to do is sprinkle it along your part and massage it in with your fingers. Then use a hair dryer to fluff it. The best part is you don’t even have to get your hair wet!
Dr Oz: Baking Soda Volumizer for Hair
If it feels like your hair is always weighted down, try this. Mix a quarter-size amount of Baking Soda with your normal amount of shampoo in your hands. Then use it to wash your hair as you normally would. The Baking Soda will get out any oil, dirt, grease, and residue, making your hair lighter and more full when you get out of the shower.
Dr Oz: Baking Soda Acne Mask Recipe
Acne care products start at about $20 and can become much more expensive than that. But you could try getting results yourself with this Baking Soda Acne Mask Recipe. (Just don’t rely on this method more than once per week, Nover-Baker suggested.)

- Apply to the face for 10-15 minutes.
