Dr Oz: Endorphinate
Endorphinate is a dietary supplement recommended by Deepak Chopra. It is designed to reduce stress, and is taken in the morning and evening for best results. Dr. Oz gave the supplement to his audience, and Deepak Chopra offers it for sale through Pondera Pharmaceuticals and Aha Life.
Dr Oz: Chyawanprash Indian Gooseberry
Chyawanprash is an Indian Gooseberry that is high in Vitamin C, another natural Cortisol fighter. It has also been shown in some research to boost energy, rejuvenate the body and provide general health benefits.
One way it works is through purifying the body’s blood supply and eliminating toxins within it. That means it is also good for your liver, and some of your livers could probably use the help if you’ve been attempting Western stress relief techniques like drinking.
Dr Oz: Ujjayi Breath – Darth Vader Breathing
Did you know that Darth Vader’s breathing style can actually relieve stress? Maybe that’s why he was doing it.
Deepak Chopra said this technique can slow your heart rate and calm you down, helping reduce your stress response. All you have to do is breathe through the nose, constrict your throat, and make a noise as you exhale. Repeat this 5-10 times and notice how it slows your heart rate and relaxes you.
Another great way to unwind is by watching funny videos. Laughter is a great means to fight your stress, Deepak Chopra said.
