Dr Oz tackled pain at every level, from muscles and nerves to our skeletal issues. First up was Michelle, who said her neck and back pain is caused by sitting at her desk all day.
Dr Oz Pain Power Pill
When thinking about Lower Back Pain, Dr Oz suggested to imagine your muscles as a ladder. Exercise, like walking or jogging, helps to open and contract them. Minerals keep them in good shape and prevent spasms. When your muscles can’t move properly, you experience pain.
The solution for this is Dr Oz’s Pain Power Pill, which combines Potassium, Magnesium and Calcium to get you relief. You should look for a combination of 200 mg Potassium, 400 mg Magnesium, and 600 mg Calcium. Check at your favorite health store or ask your pharmacist to help you find this.
Posture Pillow Review: Dr Oz
Are you constantly complaining about your sore, stiff neck? There are three Ps you should check out to start turning your pain around.
- Purse – Make sure your bag weighs between three and five pounds. Extra weight can cause an imbalance.
- Pressure – We hold tension from stress and other pressures in the neck region.
- Posture – If you’re not maintaining proper posture, you are likely to suffer neck pain from your spine.
Dr Oz recommended dealing with your neck pain at night, while you sleep. Look for a Posture Pillow that has a center area for your head to rest in.
White Willow Bark Review: Herniated Disc Remedy
Carmen complained that she has foot, leg, and back pain. I’d assume if it hurts to move around, you’re probably not getting walks or excited about exercising. It’s easy to see how chronic pain can spiral, causing health consequences in various aspects of your life.
Dr Oz suggested a remedy for Herniated Discs, which he suspected were at the root of Carmen’s issue. But first he used a glass cylinder to explain the issue. Inside were jelly donuts, with discs separating them. As Dr Oz compressed the donuts (and the discs), the red jelly, representing inflammation, oozed out of them.
White Willow Bark works via a method similar to Aspirin. Dr Oz suggested taking four to six mL, three times per day, with water. Carmen said the taste was not bad.
Dr Oz: Tennis Ball Massage
Walking around all day is a recipe for tired and sore feet. You could even be experiencing Sciatic Nerve Pain, which is caused by nerve compression in the feet.
The best solution for this is as affordable as medicine gets. You just have to put a tennis ball in your back pocket and sit on the ball, rolling around carefully to work the nerves and relax the muscles. Then switch to the other side to make sure you get that as well. You can also roll a tennis ball under your foot for relief in that area.
Arniflora Arnica Gel Review: Dr Oz Joint Pain
Stephanie was the next audience member seeking chronic pain relief. Her issue was joint pain, mostly in her feet. Dr Oz explained knee anatomy, saying that joint pain is often the result of repetitive trauma from running or walking.
Dr Oz showed Stephanie and the audience how the joints in the knee become rough after trauma, instead of their naturally smooth state.
He recommended Arniflora Arnica Gel, a homeopathic solution for joint and knee pain.
Another option is orthotics, which are available in pre-manufactured sizes or can be custom made for your foot by a podiatrist.
