60 Minutes: Serial Killer Charles Cullen

Charles Cullen may be better known as the serial killer nurse, known to have murdered at least 40 patients, and possibly many more, during his 16 years in medicine. This two-part report was postponed from a previous episode, but it is now scheduled to air in a 60 Minutes first.

No serial killer has ever appeared on 60 Minutes, until now. Steve Kroft even got an apology to the victims from Cullen, which can be seen during Sunday’s broadcast.

Even more amazingly, Detective Tim Braun, who helped to solve the case, said that the hospital where Cullen worked was uncooperative during the investigation, leading to more deaths before the killer could be caught.

Though the hospital was urged to call police three months before they took action, leading to five more deaths in the meantime. You will get to hear all the unbelievable details in this gripping true story on 60 Minutes this Sunday, April 28.

If you can’t watch the show, be sure to check back and read all the recaps after it airs on TV.
